Job Role and Responsibilities : An Associate QA Engineer is required to fully test the Product or System to ensure it functions properly and meets the Business Needs / Requirements. The job responsibilities include: ·         Analyze and understand Requirements ·         Manual Testing of Product / System o    Prepare Scenarios / Use Cases / Test Cases o    Execute Scenarios / Use Cases / Test Cases o    Report Defects o    Prepare test reports  ·         Automation Testing o    Create and Execute Automation Scripts ·         Application Testing in Mobile Devices Required Skills Minimum Requirements : ·         Testing Experience 1 to 2 years ·         Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle  (SDLC) and Software Testing Live Cycle (STLC). ·         Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance and Quality Control Process and methodologies ·         Strong troubleshooting , analytical and quantitative reasoning skills. ·         Ability to work in a team as well as an individual ·         Must be highly organized, enthusiastic and resourceful. ·         Must be flexible and able to adapt for changing requirements. ·         Excellent oral / written communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred skills : ·         Automation using Selenium ·         Familiarity with Mac OS ·         Good knowledge of Object oriented programming. ·         Any Programming knowledge - Java (preferred), Python, .Net (C#, VB) etc., Education : ·         B.Tech/B.E or equivalent area of study. Non-Technical: With a desire for self learning, the candidate should possess strong cross-functional communication, interpersonal and team skills. He/She should have the ability to resolve conflicts and make sound decisions. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate should be able to review current process and recommend process improvements. An ideal candidate must be detail focused and able to work with minimal supervision. You must be a team player willing to rotate and be able to work in multiple products with various levels of complexity.
