#ABB hiring Software Test Engineer

Tasks:
You as a Software Testing Engineer responsible for writing and execution of manual and automated test cases for product under test as per product requirements.


The other responsibilities include:

• • Will be responsible for execution of tests as per test plan.
• •Will be responsible for test result report and should enters problems and issues into the bug database. Also Monitors and updates bug reports as needed including bug report closure.
• • Configures necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete
• assigned testing.
• • Must have knowledge of Test case and defect maintaince tool like MTM, TFS and HP ALM.
• • Assists in the development of test plans and test procedures.
• • Completes assigned test-related tasks.
• • Assists in test processes as they are developed.
• • Basic knowledge of Debugging is preferred
• • Basics knowledge in C# would be beneficial

Requirements:
Your Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with strong understanding on software product development life cycle and extensive experience in Testing Life cycle including Knowledge of various Testing methodologies, Test Strategy development, Test Data analysis, Exposure to bug life cycle.


Other areas of expertise:

• 1. Ability to configure various fieldbus devices, interfaces
• 2. Experience in any of the commercial Automation Tool ( preferably Test complete)
