Job Description :
– Extensive knowledge of Systems & Driver Development in OS like Linux, Bare Metal Programming and Ethernet.
– Proven strong skills in software development (C). Design, develop and system drivers preferable network and understanding of Layer 2 (L2) Network protocols. Switching protocols will be added advantage.
– Awareness of Switch level protocols, packet routing, forwarding and filtering, and exposure to VLAN concepts etc on Switches is also an added Advantage.
– System Level expertise like Ethernet Driver, DMA, Clock management etc.
– Strong in RTOS concepts and good proficiency in real time multi-threaded software design and development.
Good knowledge of embedded system architecture, Peripherals like I2C, I2S, SPI, UART etc.
– Should have prior experience on developing software for ARM based SOCs such as OMAP, i.MX, Jacinto and Intel platforms etc.
– Should have a good understanding of internals of these processors. Should be flexible to develop software on both Complex ARM based SoCs and Automotive MCUs
– Awareness of Network Protocols like DHCP, ARP, TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, VLAN, Network design & Concepts of OSI network stack.
– Hands on Development experience in embedded development using Linux, RTOS like QNX etc.
– Experience in wired network based audio and video streaming is an added advantage.
– Exposure to audio processing, Development of audio and video device drivers, AV Streaming and Multi-stream and class based shaping.
– Experience in QNX/Linux driver development for embedded devices is desirable
– Experience with embedded application firmware development.
– Should be able to work independently, contribute to requirements reviews, analysis of customer change requests, analysis of existing designs and also development of new designs in the field of Systems Design/Development
– Should be self motivated, and drive to bring up solutions individually as well as working with multiple team members.
