The Java developer will work on both front-end and back-end detailed design, development, and unit testing of all code developed, including documenting code developed and fixing bugs in the development for various applications. The work includes new J2EE development and also support to the existing systems. Experience with JSP, Velocity, Struts, Hibernate, EJB, AJAX, Java 5 is preferred.
An Associate Consultant is expected to be familiar with databases and OOPs concepts. He / she should be willing to learn and develop in other platforms if needed. Knowledge of business applications especially financial products is a definite plus.
In future, growing from the above role, he or she should be able to lead the discussion on business requirements, and design IT solutions for these needs. This will require a combination of skills: configuring generic models to create specific models, designing logical extensions to existing solutions.
Requirements
A self-starter and good learner who will take personal ownership to deliver solutions to clients, while working in a multi-company team, understanding and communicating issues appropriately, working at whatever level is required. Work will be both in office and at various customer sites; hence there must be a readiness to travel at short notice.
